Random Gallery
Everything below is normally invisible. It is what search engines and LLMs read to decide whether to retrieve and cite this page.
About
Random Gallery pulls one work at a time from the Art Institute of Chicago's open-access collection — a painting, a print, a photograph — with its title and artist. Hit next for another.
How it works
It fetches a random page from the keyless Art Institute API, picks a work that has an image, and loads it from their IIIF image server. No key, no server of ours.
